The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have designated St. Philip's College as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education- 2 years. The designation covers the academic years 2022 through 2027. For more information about the CAE Community visit, http://caecommunity.org/.
The purpose of the National CAE designation program is to promote higher education in cybersecurity/Information Assurance and prepare a growing number of professionals to meet the need to reduce vulnerabilities in the Nation’s networks. The initial National CAE in CD Education (CAE/IAE) program was started by the NSA in 1998, with DHS joining as a partner in 2004 in response to the President’s National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace.

The National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance 2-Year Education program provides seminars and workshops for those in the program.

The Cyber Tigers of St. Philips College are a group of students who are interested in all things technology. The Cyber Tigers complement their studies of networking, Microsoft applications, Linux, and security to form a unique club that helps channel school work into real work scenarios and experiences.
